The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce daily operations are run by a three person office totaling 25 years of Chamber experience.

Leslie Gould, President/CEO

Gould brings 10 years of non-profit management experience to the LACC. For almost a year Gould has held the Director of Development position at the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore in Marblehead. Prior to that, she was the executive director at the Marblehead, MA Chamber of Commerce for nine years.

Gould, has a proven track record of building Chambers from its infancy to a professional, respected and relevant powerhouse in the community by focusing on quality customer service for both Chamber members and community; cooperative advertising; creating and organizing member and community events, programs and initiatives; collaborating with non-profits, businesses and tourism development and solid image building.

Gould is a native of Swampscott and graduated Boston University, College of Communications with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. She received a certificate in non-profit organizational management from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce institute for organizational Management. She is an award winning cable television producer, was awarded a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow, served as Commissioner for the Essex National Heritage Area, and served on the Board of Director for the North of Boston Visitor and Convention Bureau.

JoAnn Power, Communications Manager

JoAnn Power has worked as the Communications Manager at the LACC for 11 years. She is a lifelong Lynn resident. She attended Sacred Heat School and St. Mary’s High School both in Lynn and holds a bachelors degree in communications from Salem State College.

JoAnn lives in Lynn with her husband Ed, a Lynn firefighter and their two boys Eddie and John.

Sandra Lewis, Membership Manager

Sandra Lewis has been the Membership Manager at the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce for the past six years. Moreover, Lewis is the “super woman” of sponsorship and is the organization’s secret sales weapon!

Lewis is a proud lifelong Lynn resident. She graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute in 1997 where she was a captain of the women’s basketball and softball teams.

Lewis also attended North Shore Community College. Lewis is married to her high school sweetheart and lives in Lynn with their three children, Makayla, Leana, and Eddie Jr.

“Working at the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce gives me the opportunity to work with so many different types of people, from bank presidents to the retail shop owner. I love helping them promote their business. We work on a variety of programs and events to help the business community. Everyday is different at the LACC and that is why I love my job.”
